The AirPods on MacBook are definitely fiddly but switching sound output to AirPods always fixes all problems if switching audio doesn’t work for any reason, and the ability they have to sync to watch (for workouts), iPhone, iPad, Mac, and AppleTV at the same time is totally bonkers even if the end result is somewhat flaky. I also appreciate that Apple leaves a highly amplified headphone jack on their MacBook pros because there’s tons of Pro applications where Bluetooth headphones just don’t work due to latency.
