Ive seems to have left because he was no longer powerful enough. He was likely burned out. He got a good amount of money out of leaving as well. I don’t know what any of that has anything to do with Apple being run by technocrats? I don’t know if the person who wrote this truly understands how much creativity is needed to pull off the engineering feats that Apple seems to have been pulling off for better part of last two decades.
