- akmittal 4y agoWarp is full terminal with focus on collaboration features. Fig can be used with your existing terminals like iTerm, terminal or VSCode
- steve_adams_86 4y agoIt seems like it’s intended to be complimentary, and it runs in warp.
- SheinhardtWigCo 4y agoCompetent marketing, if nothing else. Warp's landing page: - Product Hunt #1 Product of the Day - The terminal for the 21st century - Warp is a blazingly fast, rust-based terminal reimagined from the ground up to work like a modern app. - All cloud features are opt-in. Data is encrypted at rest. - Fully native, Rust-based terminal. No Electron or web-tech. Fig's landing page: - Fig adds IDE-style autocomplete to your existing terminal. - Works with your existing terminal & shell - Supports 300+ of your favorite CLI tools - Autocomplete for cd, git, docker, npm, yarn, kubectl, brew, aws and hundreds more!
- progbits 4y agoRegarding Warp's: > All cloud features are opt-in. Data is encrypted at rest. The most generous interpretation is this is misleading (I would consider it outright lie) given they currently also have telemetry which isn't even opt-out, it's always on.
