Interesting that they mention Canada's Bill C11. Forcing CanCon on the entire internet, under threat of onerous fines, is a topic that I would hope to see more discussion of.
- Buttons840 5y agoQuick research shows this bill would apply the same regulations on radio and TV broadcasts to every random streamer and YouTuber? Does sound bad.
- dleslie 5y agoBasically, yes. There doesn't seem to be any political will in Canada to oppose it, so it's likely to pass.
