> HN according to the wikipedia page has been created as a place to preserve the eternal september
Sorry, could you point out the bit where the wiki page says anything like that?
- SemanticStrengh 4y agoI was referring to the HN wiki page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hacker_News#:~:text=Graham%20stated%20he%20hopes%20to%20avoid%20the%20Eternal%20September%20that%20results%20in%20the%20general%20decline%20of%20intelligent%20discourse%20within%20a%20community.%5B4%5D https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hacker_News#:~:text=Graham%20s...
- cookie_monsta 4y agoOh, ok thanks because you linked to another page. But still the HN wiki page says > Graham stated he hopes to avoid the Eternal September that results in the general decline of intelligent discourse within a community How does that make it a place created to preserve the Eternal September?
- SemanticStrengh 4y agoI actually meant to preserve the pre-eternal september state.
- t-3 4y agoEternal August?
