The first number is the band size (the circumference of your chest under the boob) and the letter signifies how many inches the circumference of your bust is above the first number. A = 1 inch, B = 2 inches, C = 3 inches, D = 4 inches, E/DD = 5 inches, etc. So, taking the median here is kind of confusing. Also, I imagine this distribution is bi-modal with healthy/fit people around 32C and overweight people at 36F.
