I wish there was a way to always produce a notebook, without the hassle of getting it out of the backpack without having to carry it (uses 1 out of 2 hands). Same for the pen. I think finding a surface can also be difficult. Anyone has ideas?
- smarx007 4y agoI would go for one of the top-wirebound Europa notebooks [1] They fit in a palm or place nicely on a lap. Any pen with a retraction mechanism should work fine, I prefer Uniball Power Tank. - mateo1 4y agoI used to keep a couple pages of paper in my wallet and a small pen. It wasn't that much of a hassle, but modern responsive smartphones made this obsolete. At home I generally prefer taking notes on paper.
- egypturnash 4y agoPerhaps you are ready for "the Hipster PDA": a small stack of 3x5 notecards, kept together with a binder clip. Fits in your pocket along with a pen. If you want to be a bit more upscale you can get pocket-sized notebooks with a loop to hold a small pen.
- site-packages1 4y agoField Notes[1] notebook with something like a pilot slim pen[2] has been perfect for every day carrying in my shirt pocket or back pocket and is producible at a moment's notice.
