I learnt it from my parents, they didn't explicitly teach me anything but I just learnt them by sitting next to them when they were working with the accounts and monthly budgets and things like that, looking at what they are doing and ask questions. I was surprised when in my middle school classmates didn't know how banks worked and they were astonished that banks lent out your money that you deposited to other people :/
