Alt+Shift+Left-Click for any JetBrains IDEs. I use it for coding as well as data editing (eg. Aligned MySQL CLI results in a scratch file) all the time.
The support is excellent as when you have multiple cursors, all other standard key combos, like Ctrl+arrow work for all at once. It's also great for selecting a list of aligned text and pasting it elsewhere.
