startup lawyers in California?
Looking for recommendations for startup lawyers who can help with DE incorporation + CA registration and any other post-incorporation steps.
Thanks
- ss108 4y agoJust use Clerky or Stripe or Gusto. Lawyers tend to be absurd wastes of money. (Source: am currently in biglaw--not that you'd need to hire such a firm for this, but rule still applies)
- me_me_mu_mu 4y agoAh I'll check those out. By chance do you know if they have some sort of ad-hoc lawyer available if needed (kind of like how some tax prep software has accountants available)?
- ss108 4y agoI can only speak to Clerky, and they don't seem to. At certain points, they say things like "if you intend to do x, you should consult a lawyer"
- me_me_mu_mu 4y agoHave you used Clerky yourself?
- ss108 4y agoYes, I used it to incorporate recently and we are early in the "post-incorporation steps" process. So I don't have that much knowledge, unfortunately, but I am a user.
