- hilbert42 5y agoSurely, this isn't for real, is it? That NTFS3 driver is desperately needed by many. Perhaps the real problem is that those who need it most aren't skilled Linux people. The corollary being that 'true' Linux people have no need of the NTFS interloper. My view is that NTFS3 if or when fully adopted, would eventually replace that diabolical 'free' monster from Microsoft—exFAT, especially so in Android systems. exFAT should be shot and strangled on sight, it's a Trojan horse masquerading as a filing system. (With its reputation, I shouldn't have to expand on that.)
