This could be some sort of feature or I'm just too paranoid ? I mean, if everyone uses a service like this aggregating user data from many brokers could become significantly harder. And this in turn may make online advertisement less profitable in the future. So I think this could be a tactic to delay widespread adoption of such services. I'm aware this sounds like thin foil hat paranoia and I'm not trying to imply this is whats happening, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is something like this going on.
