A Declaration for the Future of the Internet [pdf]
- rasengan 4y agoSS: This was issued by the US and a few other countries within its realm. I want to point out that despite some of the fluffy language, this is not a legally binding document, and thus, cannot be defined as anything more than 'theater.' The best internet is an internet without any non-inclusive single entity or clique/cabal of entities attempting to assert ownership of any kind therewith. The internet belongs to ALL of the people of the world, period, and not in a democratic way. It's everyone's own internet. You can choose whether or not to connect your network and to who/whom. That's the only global, unanimous law.
