I use Go for simple CLI apps and it's pretty dang good for that. They're used by coworkers, contractors, and clients so the fact I can just send over an executable for any OS is really nice. I wouldn't use it for anything too complex, or requiring a GUI. Mainly because I'd be much better off using the languages in my day job that I'm more familiar with.
