- wodenokoto 4y agoI think wishing for money is sort of a way to deflect making the actual wish. If I get the money now, I can choose lots of things to spend them on later, and maybe some of those are what I really want. The boring, but "cut to the chase" wish would be for happiness and the "larger than myself" wish would be peace on earth.
- kite_and_code 4y agoI think along similar lines. Also, when I thought about it, I more often find myself actually wishing for a constant stream of money rather than an one-off payment. Although that might change if I actually find something that I would love to afford and that is only payable once but then there are financial markets that would happily transfer a steady flow of money in the future to a large payment now. What is currently missing from achieving more happiness for you? And I also join the wish for peace in the world :)
