Twitter, Elon and Fosstodon – A Post-Mortem
- proactivesvcs 5y agoAlthough there were reports of images failing to upload, during this time I never saw any downtime, and I was up too late surfing the wave of newcomers. I often saw the timeline out of order but other than that I'd have never known their load had shot up so sharply, and that they migrated to a new server in the middle of it. Kudos to the folks behind Fosstodon, welcome to all newcomers and returnees, and if you still haven't tried out Mastodon - Fosstodon or otherwise - now's a great time to try it out!
