This article (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970203405504576603053795839250.html http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000142405297020340550457660...) references a Credit Suisse analysis that says "Apple got $632 on average for each iPhone sold in its most recent quarter..." At that number, we're a little over $2.5 billion. Staggering.
