EU, USA and 32 countries signed a Declaration for the Future of the Internet
- eimrine 5y agoA quote from the Declaration [1]: > Refrain from blocking or degrading access to lawful content, services, and applications on the Internet, consistent with principles of Net Neutrality subject to applicable law, including international human rights law. Can you explain me in plain English what does this paragraph mean? I understand a concept of Net Neutrality as when your provider gives you (for example) an access to youtube when you are out of funds - this is a violation of the Net Neutrality concept. But this paragraph definitely treats Net Neutrality as something else. And does this part of Declaration allows using torrents without fines as in Germany?
