For example, a lot of vacation locations have building work going on constantly and, in many Mediterranean countries, leaving a barking dog out on your balcony all day and night is considered normal and neighbourly. Also finding a location with a decent internet connection, reliable electric & plumbing, and decent furniture seems to be expecting too much?
