Can learning to play a musical instrument help with ADHD?

  It certainly helped me. Exploring music opened my mind up to both my potential ability as well as the technical side of audio, which lead fairly directly to me becoming a programmer. Video games and guitar are like the foundation of my career. I needed to know how they both worked, and that journey exposed me to so much cool stuff. I really can’t see how a musical instrument would hurt, and I see plenty of reasons as to why it would help. The key is wanting to play.
