  > Bitcoin is a pure distillation of what John Maynard Keynes called finance’s "animal spirits."... the way people feel about it really matters... they want to talk about the One True Faith. In the end, a lot of tech is like this. Sure, there are some real walls to the network-effect gardens, which is why the giants will fight interoperability tooth and nail, but in the end confidence is a huge factor. A company as precarious as Meta, or Twitter could die in matter of months if the cultural wind changes.
