DeSantis vetoes net metering bill opposed by rooftop solar proponents
- tomohawk 5y agoThere's a time for every purpose, so this veto makes sense. However, I've operated a grid tied PV system for several years, and while I don't like being charged more, it makes sense. Grid tied systems are heavily subsidized by the utilty companies, and they have to recover the cost somehow. It's important that utilities have a viable economic model or they become unreliable.
