- exabrial 4y agoThe main consumer is agriculture. I think the easiest plan is to _stop growing stuff in the dessert_. We can live without baby spinach during the winter. Let prices rise so people find alternatives. The ridiculous practice of subsidizing all of this harmful farming with massive Tax projects is a waste of money and damaging billions of acres of habitat.
- jjtheblunt 4y agoIs there a breakdown you know of for where the agriculture use happens? For instance, central valley California versus Arizona (which the map shows only slightly in drought)?
