  To be fair, every sudden change of hands brings a risk of layoffs with it. And disgruntled people have been known to sabotage their former employers. In their place, I would be very careful too.

    Is that founded in numbers though? I always hear about people worrying about sabotage in the valley but I’ve found actual cases extremely rare. Not to mention most everything from code to data is engineered to be durable and reversible so there’s almost no point in risking liability and self-sabotage of your own career.
