Women have a hard time getting symptoms, esp around pain, taken seriously. Oftentimes these symptoms are downplayed or ignored, regardless of the sex/gender of the medical professional.
- 77pt77 4y agoAgain. If they are discriminated so strongly against, why do they live 5 years longer on average? It's like you completely disregarded my comment and decided instead to just proselytize.
- kalleboo 4y agoBecause of biology? Other female primates (chimpanzees, gorillas, orangutans, etc) also live longer than males. I don't understand your argument. Just because women live longer on average, they're supposed to live in pain without treatment?
- 77pt77 4y agoMy argument is that if there was a significant bias against them then that gap would not exist or be much smaller. In reality they get about 7 times the allocated health expenditure that males get.
