Few-Shot Head Swapping in the Wild
- k__ 5y ago"The head swapping task aims at flawlessly placing a source head onto a target body, which is of great importance to various entertainment scenarios." I expected this to be about head transplantation surgery and was a bit confused, lol
- dvh 5y agoEspecially after getting shot few times.

- DFHippie 5y agoAlso disruption of social cohesion and trust scenarios.
- Silasdev 5y agoImpressive results
- thorum 5y agoI wonder what the intended use of this technology is?
- drusepth 5y agoWell, it's effectively face-swapping but also includes hair and other non-face features of the head, so it seems strictly better than simply swapping faces. Therefore, the intended use is probably a superset of face swapping uses. With this, you'd need less of a "body match" to realistically swap onto (for example, matching hair style/color). Compare e.g. simply swapping a player's face onto a game avatar versus swapping their entire head + hair.
- chrischen 5y agoI don’t know what they intend to use it for but face swapping is a common request on Instapainting.com, so we (ai work there) could use it to generate previews before an artist does the face swapping work.

- cush 5y agoAll of the demos are of men with similar looking short hair. Seems suspicious.
- mrandish 5y agoYeah, in the interview of Ricky Gervais by Kermit the Frog, I was hoping Kermit's head would be swapped onto Ricky. I guess this tech isn't quite that far yet. Still quite impressive though.
- sandos 5y agoFascinating that the body language really shines through. Also the posture is not fixable and it sort of stands out. And why the gray hair suddenly? :)
