- renewiltord 5y agoHaha, the pedals do actually exist. I'm sure the guy who'd complain about the cable doesn't :D You can hook up like a guitar pedal or a cheap pedal from Alibaba over USB and it'll do the thing. Honestly, though, I found it quite hard to use in clutch or toggle mode because: 1. Had to keep foot in the same place 2. - greedo 5y agoYeah, I dove into the rabbit hole this afternoon. But my vim usage is too hardwired now after decades. I tried to teach someone how to use vi/vim at work a while ago and it was hard because I didn't really think about how I use it. Just like explaining how to type on qwerty; so much muscle memory that goes into things. Back when I was addicted to WoW, I dreamed of using foot pedals as secondary inputs for macros/key combos, but never really pursued it past thinking it would help.
