I would open no offices.
- enthrighte 4y agoDo you think there's no advantages to being in person or that the advantages don't justify the cost?

- testbjjl 4y agoWho’s costs?
- blinded 4y agoThere are some for sure, and I do miss the office. But parts of what I miss about it are lunches with co workers, drinks at cool spots every now and again. I don't miss the desk drive bys, traffic, parking, slow elevators, etc etc. I would provide a co working space or stipend for that for the teams / people that want that environment if I were king for a day.
- testbjjl 4y agoWhat’s the con (vs pro) to this approach? I can see Wall Street analysis saying on premise companies outperform (Msft is back, Tesla, Apple, but not the group missing earnings reports), then the hot new startups follow because their funders wrote the analysis, then a rush for San Francisco office space again, across the board like never before. 10 years goes by fast. The kids who missed in person learning might long for in person working.
