End to NIMBYism. Current homeowners should not be able to block new developments and encase a neighbourhood in amber.
- JaimeThompson 4y agoIt would need to apply to everyone. No more of this open up single family housing is this middle class area while protecting the parks / forest in the wealthy areas. What about things like AirBnB? Limiting those is a form of NIMBYism as is limiting where factories and polluting buildings can be placed and/ran.
- whimsicalism 4y agoWe want people to be housed in the places they want to live which is why we want to lessen restrictions on building.

- I-M-S 4y agoYeah, about that whole owning land thing... We might have made a wrong turn there (especially without land tax as a balancing mechanic)
