- mindcrime 4y agoAbsolutely, dust can be a huge hazard in this regard. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dust_explosion https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dust_explosion This is one reason firefighters hate going to calls in situations where fine particles of highly combustible dust is common (grain elevators, etc.) - because the threat of an explosion is very high.
- AnimalMuppet 4y agoSo can non-dairy creamer. When it's shipped dry, in bulk, the shipment has to be placarded as explosive.

- mc4ndr3 4y agoFarmers have known this a long time. There are specific protocols to follow when keeping a silo, to avoid explosions.
