Like their tag line is: A social network that champions free speech, etc etc. Your complaint isn't that they don't support free speech but rather the echo chamber and toxicity that entails. That's the real fear of what Elon is about to do. By allowing conversations to happen it will break the echo chambers of twitter and the left fears that greatly.
