The interview was very well done. Smil made excellent points about the fact that we need something the biggest polluters can agree on - how can China, India, the US, and Russia agree on anything in today's world? Smil has suggested elsewhere that we will need to make climate cleanup work more economically palatable. We will need many more nuclear reactors, a much stronger energy grid, and hydro. There will be trade offs, but this is the most likely path. Also - I recommend Bill Gates excellent and clearly written book on climate change.
