This is an opportunity for remote employers to out-compete those that refuse to allow the option. Clearly, this only applies to jobs that can be performed remotely, that not everyone prefers or thrives in remote roles, and that the process I’m writing about will take years for this to fully play out.
The shift to remote work is unmistakable. Even the singular desire of reluctant managers and business owners seeking to reverse this trend will ultimately fail.
