I admire the forward thinking and application of common sense here. There's literally no better way of testing the system than this. It seems that a lot of big tech companies would never have the balls to do this themselves.
- mike_d 5y agoNetflix has Chaos Gorilla, Facebook has Storms(?), Google has DiRT. Everyone does this type of testing.

- mike_d 5y agoI am curious why you think that isn't the case? I've done it multiple times - simulating mains power failures, total power failure, split brains, and fiber cuts to the building.
