This is correct. And there will need to be some other mechanism to replace vested with payouts over time. Just saying “you’ll keep vesting” isn’t good enough. People will say ok I’ve got a good grant in 2023 and then my comp falls off a cliff. They’ll either leave when that vest happens or sooner.
