Is there a list of supported hardware models in conventional (non-codename) format? I am eager to find a model which isn't going to be expensive/rare (like Google Pixel) nor obsolete (pre-LTE). This is rather hard with the old LineageOS versions HCLs.
- scns 5y agohttps://www.sustaphones.com/ https://www.sustaphones.com/ Gives you filters for battery replacement difficulty and headphone jacks. edit: add explanation
- onli 5y agoThanks for linking to the site. I just updated it to include the new version. It's called 19.1 in their wiki and I'll just copy that version number for now.
- nfriedly 5y agoThat's a really cool site! Any chance you could add an additional filter for microSD support?
- CameronNemo 5y agoI would also like to see this. I tried my hand at a patch, but not sure if it would work. https://gitlab.com/onli/sustaphones/-/merge_requests/2 https://gitlab.com/onli/sustaphones/-/merge_requests/2
- onli 5y agoThanks! Sure, if the data is already in the wiki that should be doable. Gonna have a look.
- scns 5y agoThanks for building it.

- est31 5y agoIn addition to the official wiki, or running queries on the yml data yourself (it's published under the lineage OS Github account), you can also check these two third party tools: https://lineageosdevices.com/ https://lineageosdevices.com/ https://lineageos-device-finder.org/lineageos-device-configurator/ https://lineageos-device-finder.org/lineageos-device-configu...
- qwerty456127 5y ago> it's published under the lineage OS Github account What I found there was a list of model codenames like "redfin" rather than "Google Pixel 5". Now I've already found the list I wanted, however. Thank you anyway.
- est31 5y agoThe list I meant is here: https://github.com/LineageOS/lineage_wiki/tree/master/_data/devices https://github.com/LineageOS/lineage_wiki/tree/master/_data/... It contains the full model name in the yml data.
- Markoff 5y agoAll Xiaomi devices are unlockable and all Snapdragon devices should have no problem with custom ROMs. But if you are from US you can have problems with LTE bands maybe.
- jeroenhd 5y agoMy Mi9 has no official builds for LineageOS and my days of trusting random forum users for my daily driver ROMs are over. There are many Xiaomi devices that are compatible with LineageOS, but they're exactly not guaranteed to work just because their bootloader unlocks.
- zozbot234 5y agoYou could run a build of the new LineageOS official Generic System Images. That way you wouldn't be relying on random xda users, though some things might just not work properly with a GSI.
- Markoff 5y agoHere is newest Lineage for Mi9 https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-12-cepheus-lineageos-19-1-unofficial-14-04-2022.4408133/ https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-12-cepheus-lineageos-... not exactly sure how exactly are official Lineage builds more trustful than unofficial, since it's same random forum users developing all these builds whether official or unofficial
- hedora 5y agoYou could get a pixel 4 on ebay for $100-$250. It'll run lineageos, calyx and grapheneos. Alternatively, you could look to see what resellers such as these people stock. https://privatephoneshop.com/ https://privatephoneshop.com/ (No affiliation, I've never heard of them, and they're not cheap.)
