I posted the article because it shows a decision making process empty of data and filled with groupthink. It’s meant as a caution to people employed in the tech industry. It’s very tempting to view “data less” decisions as the product of stupidity or lack or critical though. This shows how educated, smart, diverse group ends up worshipping the “idols of the tribe.”
