I fully stand by the statement that it's basically only fake environmentalists who care. Yes, some real environmentalists do too, but seriously: the wholesale destruction of the entire biosphere due to the rampant use of fossil fuels, the destruction of entire ecosystems like the Amazon rainforest, and some people only focus on how we shouldn't build wind farms because of the birds. Colour me cynical about most people who bring up wind farms and birds. Again, I know of projects where that entire angle was just a political one used to cancel wind projects in favour of staying reliant on coal. I liked that parrot too; it's probably doomed anyway due to the fact that destruction of native forests is rampant. How will the raptors do in global warming?
