How BioWare's Anthem Went Wrong (2019)
- nerdjon 5y agoI still think Anthem was a lot of fun. But I largely blame Kotaku/Gawker tbh. For some reason they felt the need to basically destroy Bioware. It started with Mass Effect Andromeda. How many articles did they release about how "broken" it was (which btw it was not as bad as they made it out to seem). They did the same with Anthem. Were both games seriously flawed and not up to BioWare name? Yes. But they were still a ton of fun to play that a large portion of gamers never gave a chance because a certain blog decided they could get a lot of clicks for going the anti BioWare route.
