I was under the impression that even though Hack no longer is backward compatible with PHP - that in practice, it's still largely the same (not much has changed). Or am I mistaken?
- tored 5y agoLots of changes. Like built in async, generics, shapes (typed associative arrays) and I learned the other day here on HN that XML templating is built into the language, somewhat similar to JSX.
- slimginz 5y agoJSX in React was actually based on XHP (Hack's XML template framework) since both were developed at Facebook
