So the author initially laments the lack of thought diversity in the expert group (most participants work at English speaking, western universities), but then complains about them not agreeing with his data, which is only from English speaking western countries, so also not diverse at all. Looks like he should make up his mind.

We should have opinions so that we can disagree with each other and become elite. I'll start All cows are spheres and have uniform density. These 2 properties make them BEAUTIFUL!
- hef19898 4y agoOnly Elitists would say so! Cows are clearly cube shaped, or how would they fit into Tetra packs?
- im3w1l 4y agoYeah, this is a pretty good point. That marriage "works" better in a given time and place doesn't translate into a universal law that it always works better. And in particular it may be the case that alternative relationships can be made to work if other supporting cultural changes happen.
