Socialist professors literally have no power. Lobbyists do. Reduced taxes on corporations, starve the beast mentality from mendacious politicians. The american experiment will finish with actual fascism now. Good luck surviving that.
- cato_the_elder 5y agoOf course they have clout. They are the omniscience "experts" you hear about everywhere. But probably not as much as the rest of the blob (like woke journalists and corporations). The blob has soft power, and they aren't using it well. Soft despotism [1] is still despotism.
