> something that gradually became impossible in the developed countries as social democracy was abandoned in favour of neo liberalism
wut???
what made it impossible was creeping socialism everywhere: eternally growing warfare and welfare state manged by the Uniparty.
> Billionaires dismantled our society, not some shadowy cabal of "liberal" professors.
socialist professors are one of the groups that robs people of their future. for some reason people still like to pay to become damaged, which indicates that robbery begins at an early age - in state schools and at home.
- smackeyacky 4y agoSocialist professors literally have no power. Lobbyists do. Reduced taxes on corporations, starve the beast mentality from mendacious politicians. The american experiment will finish with actual fascism now. Good luck surviving that.
- cato_the_elder 4y agoOf course they have clout. They are the omniscience "experts" you hear about everywhere. But probably not as much as the rest of the blob (like woke journalists and corporations). The blob has soft power, and they aren't using it well. Soft despotism [1] is still despotism. - smackeyacky 4y agoYou will need more examples of the power of this socialist blob. Zero examples isn't enough.
