Always wondered if these are part of money laundering operations.
- WesolyKubeczek 4y agoToo finicky, if I had to do it I’d use a cryptocurrency, or connections in the state lottery.
- jacquesm 4y agoCryptocurrency doesn't solve the problem the way a $12K cable does and not everybody has connections in the state lottery.
- isbvhodnvemrwvn 4y agoHow about a 55k picture of a cat licking its ass?
- nabla9 4y agoIt's not easy to launder money using cryptocurrency. Untraceable transactions don't solve the money laundering problem. That's why drug lords end with warehouses full of $100 bills.

- nabla9 4y agoNot enough volume and markets, I think. Expensive watches and art definitely are. You give someone $50,000 Swiss watch. When they are in Geneva, they resell the watch for a good price for a reputable Swiss merchant, take the money and walk across the street to the Swiss bank. The same shop can resell the same watch again and again.
