In the PNW you would kill salmon runs.

- PaulDavisThe1st 4y agoAlso, the PNW is one of the driest parts of the country for many months of the year. They rely on enough snowpack melting slowly enough and not being reabsorbed by the ground in order to keep rivers flowing. Snowpack is on a downward trend, and drier warmer ground absorbs more of what does flow before it reaches rivers.
