Flatpaks splat the files on disk just like your traditional package manager, you shouldn't be seeing any performance difference.
- brnt 4y agoIt loads however a lot more, either a Gnome or KDE base, and it shows. I've tested a few apps with their tarball/rpm versions vs Flatpak, and the latter takes seconds more, consistently. Pretty fast NVME drive too.
