HN does not have a nuanced view of this space. There's a lingering assumption that everyone involved in crypto naively wants the "old way" gone in favor of bitcoin, which is completely absurd, or that the rest are scammers.
- danaris 4y agoWell, basically everyone I've talked with on here about it that supports blockchain and cryptocurrencies has either explicitly or implicitly taken that position (that "fiat" should be replaced by cryptocurrency), so yeah, that is my assumption.
- wpietri 4y agoWe agree there is a group of people who don't have a nuanced view of the cryptocurrency space. But you seem to have overlooked about 99% of people advocating for crypto.
