Honestly you can get iterm2, zsh and oh-my-zsh installed in like <10mins and have a great looking terminal that you never have to mess with again it’s not really a newbie overhead.
- ybbond 5y agothe thing with newbie is no overhead and teach them lessons. leave tweaking and aesthetics for their own time. if they really are into the terminal, they will find their own way and time to decorate em.
- toastal 5y agoThat setup takes about 10 minutes to launch too. Slap fish on the default terminal and you have something that launches fast and works out of the box and requires less additional stuff to install.
