- AnimalMuppet 5y agoWell, they should. Shine a spotlight on the sleaze and dirt and corruption on both sides. And they might actually do both. They'll do Trump this summer, and the Bidens after the Republicans take over Congress in November (if they do). The Democrats better be a little bit careful here. While Trump's behavior is absolutely worthy of an investigation, a set of hearings, and widespread exposure, the Democrats seem to have this mythology of inevitability - they think that they're going to be in power forever. They need to run hearings that not only are fair, but that also look fair. If they don't, in a few months what they do will be coming back to be done to them, with compound interest.
- westcort 5y agoI have heard from others that, “the democrats want to be in power forever.” And yet, the democrats didn’t literally try to violently overthrow the US government, like the Republicans did. That said, I have a lot of respect for Pence and other Republicans. In fact, before the party was led astray, it was always a grand compromise, just like the government always has been since inception. Most people, I think, want to keep a two-party system. We don’t want to live in a dictatorship.
- zozbot234 5y agoHunter, sure. But there's no real evidence that Sleepy Joe had any involvement whatsoever with whatever foolish stuff (if any) Hunter may have been up to.
