I'm in college. I see a lot of people doubting snap's popularity in this thread. Literally everyone has snapchat and most people use it on a daily basis. I do think they provide the overall best group chat experience out of any app, you can just send text if you want, but also save funny pictures or video that people send. And only the good stuff gets saved, so you're usually not dealing with a bunch of clutter and random irrelevant content in the chat's history. The private stories are cool too, but I personally don't use them.
